Northrop Grumman is seeking Digital Engineer. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Linthicum, MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems (NGMS) Advanced Processing Solutions Business pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines the leading edge of exotic new technologies, and drives advances in the sciences. One of our most challenging new fields is Transformational Computing, which is focused on developing innovative next generation superconducting electronics (SCE) and advanced computing technologies.

This position requires work onsite at our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) facility in Linthicum, Maryland.

Job Opportunities in this Position:

  • Circuit behavioral coding in Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL RTL.
  • Circuit synthesis, formal verification, and static timing using state of the art digital ASIC design tools.
  • Developing verification plans based on requirements of the circuit and creating circuit functional test benches in RTL.
  • Generating manufacturing test vectors and manufacturing circuit test plan.
  • Help to develop automated procedures to streamline digital design procedures
  • Agile development lifecycle

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical or Computer Engineer degree
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile). 
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher

Salary Range: $71,500 USD - $89,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $86,600 USD - $108,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
