NG Space is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Agile Coach with the desire to champion agile adoption and continuous improvement across our organization to join the Remote Sensing Programs Software team to help lead projects, programs, and organizations in their adoption and execution of Agile practices.  The Principal / Sr. Principal Agile Coach will provide best practices, process tailoring, coaching, and training to enable effective agile execution.  They will work to help a team of teams meet program milestones, execute planning and cross team coordination, plan and execute of program demonstrations, provide coaching to team members, and develop agile expertise within the respective organization.  The Agile Coach will help support teams that are made up of software, firmware, systems, and hardware engineers.  All job functions require close teamwork across functional disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

While not all positions will require a clearance to start, all positions are contingent on the candidate’s ability to obtain and hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Positions will be located in Linthicum, MD. The majority of the Principal / Sr. Principal Agile coach’s work will be onsite.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Principal Agile Coach: Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 5+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or PhD; or 9 years of exp in lieu of degree.

    Sr. Principal Agile Coach: Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 9+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years of related experience, or PhD with 4+ years; or 13 years of exp in lieu of degree.

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years working as an Agile Coach at the program level (SoSM/Agile Coach/RTE) or higher

  • Experience across multiple frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and Scrum at Scale or SAFe

  • Experience Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI

  • Experience administering Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)

  • Hold a recognized certification as a Scrum Master@Scale, Registered Agile Coach, Scrum at Scale Tainer, or RTE


Salary Range: $96,900 USD - $145,300 USD
Salary Range 2: $120,000 USD - $180,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
