Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking an Information System Technical Analyst Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Linthicum, MD (with an option to work remote) where Technology and Teamwork come together... We are seeking a highly motivated individual, with an eagerness to learn. Willing to explore new technologies independently and then develop them in a team environment. This individual must possess solid data analysis skills, strong understanding of database architecture and data normalization. Strong communication skills and having the ability to translate business needs into requirements. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's GSC Visibility and Tools team which has the responsibility for creating the visibility tools and identifying process improvement opportunities across the Mission Systems sector from the proposal process to the delivery of the product with a focus on the organization's supply chain activities.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Support many different business areas by recommending/developing visibility reports and/or tools

- Analyze/Interpret data and convert to meaningful information for the business

- Utilize various toolsets for data mining/data analysis

- Explore/Develop new technologies or approaches to data mining and interpretation

- Create ad hoc reports based on unique business needs

- Support the GSC executive leadership team with data management, internal reporting, metrics and process improvement initiatives


Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors and 5 years of data analytics and/or programming experience

- Experience managing data using one or more of the following SQL, Visual Basic, C# and Java

- Experience with Supply Chain and Manufacturing Business processes

- Experience with various SAP modules

- Experience with SAP Business Objects Reporting modules 

- Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite


Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Data Transport formats: JSON, XML

- Familiarity with modern web development stack (e.g. ASP.NET, MVC, Javascript frameworks, CSS)

- Experience with version control tools like Git

- Familiarity with SQL Database technology including Oracle, SQL Server and HANA

Salary Range: $90,600 USD - $142,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
