Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Associate Quality Analyst to join our Supplier Performance Management team.

The Supplier Performance Management (SPM) organization’s SAP Production Support team is responsible for many of the core supplier quality activities within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS): PO supplier quality requirements flow down, source inspection coordination, MS vendor master quality information maintenance, the SPM Help Desk management, GSI requirement request processing, and Authorization to Ship Nonconforming Material (ATSNM) and material alert creation. Team members within SAP Production Support collaborate multiple other internal and external teams and organizations to contribute to the success of SPM, Sector, and Enterprise-wide goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor, support, and provide resolutions for submissions to the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) Help Desk
  • Monitor, support, and provide administrative duties for the supplier quality evaluation process
  • Serve as the main point of contact for performing Learning Exchange (LX) administrative duties related to SPM (e.g., assign credit to students, create reports, etc.)
  • Serve as a main point of contact for granting SPM-related SAP role requests
  • Process and coordinate source inspections
  • Monitor purchase requisitions for material authenticity exceptions and process through SAP quality queues
  • Provide back-up support for the processing of material alerts, inspection payoffs, and other similar activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 Years of relevant experience (0 years with related Masters Degree).

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. (US Citizenship required.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience reviewing, analyzing and reporting on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency using MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP


Salary Range: $59,100 USD - $88,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
