Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Quality Analyst to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

The Quality Analyst will:

  • Implement MA Engagement strategies across th program life-cycle from supporting new business pursuits to supporting fielded systems.
  • Act as the main Quality focal point for the program and be responsible for applying and maintaining quality evaluation techniques and control systems to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers, supply chain, program management, contracts, engineering, and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place and maintained.
  • Perform assessments of the program activities to ensure compliance with stated requirements.
  • Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
  • Perform analysis of program quality data to assess and determine the responsibility for, products, or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Measure and monitor supplier performance, chairing the material review board, reviewing and approval of technical documentation ,establishing program corrective action boards and interfacing with upper management on quality related issues.

This position may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3, depending upon experience.

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years relevant experience in quality, engineering or manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years relevant experience in quality, engineering or manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Salary Range: $65,000 USD - $97,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $80,100 USD - $120,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
