Northrop Grumman is seeking an Administrative Functional Support 3 for the Linthicum location.   This position will perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct customer support, developing and maintaining positive customer relations.
  • Processes equipment from outside vendors.
  • Coordinates with vendors to schedule equipment calibrations to include obtaining quotes for calibration services.
  • Document vendor calibrations, recording activities in calibration tracking database. 

Selected candidate must be excellent at multi-tasking, be detail oriented, reliable, flexible, and exercise a high level of professionalism when working directly with customers and vendors.  

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in administrative support to include demonstrated capability in computer skills, to include, advanced expertise in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft excel, prepare reports, generate spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and other forms of correspondence. 
  • Should have strong oral/written communication skills along with ability to interact effectively with coworkers, customers and outside vendors. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of asset management database work experience.
  • Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 35lbs, unassisted.
·  Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge and understanding of the calibration field or other quality function.
• Successful candidate will have a strong commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Active Secret clearance preferred.
• Experienced user of SAP.
