Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst to join the Maryland Pricing and Estimating Organization. The successful applicant will be responsible for competitive and sole source proposals of varying degrees and classifications, and will work closely with Program Management Office, Business Management, Global Supply Chain, Material Estimating, and others.  Responsibilities include:
  • Lead/support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with other team members.
  • Demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across interpersonal, business, and proposal based capabilities; a commitment to compliance, ethics and integrity; and the capability to innovate in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Develop, plan and schedule proposals.
  • Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
  • Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
  • Research and analyze historical data, develop cost models to support proposal efforts.
  • Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding meetings.
  • Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
  • Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Principal Pricing Analyst: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with 6+ years of combined experience in Business Management or a related field or Master’s Degree from an accredited university with 4+ years of combined experience in Business Management or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Government procurement regulations and the importance of compliance.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Proposals
  • Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE quality
  • Experience with Excel Pivot Tables, VBA coding and Macros
  • Experience with parametric modeling (such as SEER-SIM, PRICE True Planning, etc.)
  • Proficient in using Pro-Pricer
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
