About Your Opportunity:

The Northrop Grumman Communications team in the UK is looking for a savvy and strategic Communications Specialist to manage the UK organisation’s presence at major shows and conferences, organise set-piece customer and employee events. You’ll also work with our CSR, Charity and STEM partners as well as think tanks and member organisations to develop and execute a Partnership and Stakeholder marketing strategy for NG UK.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Work with UK leadership and Marketing team to deliver best in class events for Northrop Grumman UK including our participation at major UK trade shows, such as DSEI and RIAT
  • Work with our leadership and BD teams to facilitate our participation at events including event strategy, branding and collateral, invitations and on-the-ground event management
  • Manage annual event budgets and relationships with event organisers and suppliers to ensure NGUK receives value for money
  • Manage NGUK’s relationships with membership organisations, think tanks, charities and STEM partners to develop and execute a Partnership and Stakeholder marketing strategy
  • Work with our STEM partners to support the execution of NGUK’s STEM programmes including Cyber Centurion and STAAR Camp

Your Experience

  • Experience of working in an events-focused role
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering large scale, professional events
  • Proven record of working under limited direction to fulfil role requirements
  • Event management & campaign planning experience
  • Experience working in large, matrixed and/or geographically-dispersed organisations
