Salary: Circa £85k

Location:  Flexible/Remote - Key UK HR locations include the Corporate office in Central London, Cheltenham and New Malden.  Key International locations supported include Japan, South Korea, UAE & KSA, Poland.   Regular travel to London will be required.

About Your Opportunity:  

The role reports to the EMEA HR Director and provides operational support to the countries outside of the US, which do not have a domestic HR team, supports the European HR teams, and acts as coordinator and contact point on particular cycle plan activities for US based HR teams.

The primary purpose is to provide HR services and solutions to developing international businesses, which will improve current and future operational performance.  The role has some traditional business partner responsibilities to be executed in markets with varying states of maturity, in addition, the role will assume lead and support responsibilities for a range of International HR projects designed to build capability and HR maturity across the international operations.

The role offers a fantastic opportunity to build and strengthen international HR experience in a highly successful organization.  The candidate will be offered the opportunity to support a wide range of HR activities from delivering standard HR generalist support to creating and implementing solutions to support the business in a variety of operating environments.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Use sound HR knowledge and provide hands-on execution to assigned client groups in the areas of workforce planning, change management, employee productivity, recruitment and selection, and employee relations.
  • Effective co-ordination of remuneration policies including salary reviews, bonus plan management, global survey participation, cost analysis and market/competitive analysis.
  • Ensure implementation and delivery of all operational and corporate policies, processes and procedures to areas of responsibility.  Develop local policies and processes as required.
  • Successfully deploy annual corporate processes including performance and engagement.
  • Support specific International HR projects designed to develop the HR maturity model, including HR Technology Roadmap, Analytics and Talent Processes.  Able to effectively project manage multiple activities
  • Support European subsidiaries on defined projects
  • Able to partner with legal advisors on an international basis.
  • Coaching and support of the International HR team.

Your Experience

  • Strong functional understanding of core HR with substantive experience of providing HR expertise on an international basis
  • Practical and pragmatic in delivery of HR
  • Strong business acumen & excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in supporting the development of other team members
  • Ideally you will have experience in defence or a regulated environment, technology or consulting/services environment
  • You’re well organised with strong analytical skills
  • You’re patient, understanding and love a challenge;
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – excellent listening capability and an ability to deliver a message with empathy
  • CIPD Required
