We are looking for a Business Change Manager to work from our London office.

The Business Change Managers (BCM) is responsible for making sure that the people affected by the change are ready, willing and able to work effectively in new ways as required.

They will be critical to ensuring transformation projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. As part of a project delivery team, the BCM identifies which stakeholders will be affected by the change and works with those stakeholders to understand the scale and nature of the impact before supporting with the delivery of transformation solution. They identify necessary activities to prepare people for the coming change, ensure these are planned and managed through the project delivery lifecycle, and support people through it.

The BCM will primarily work with clients who are implementing IT solutions to drive desired changes within their organisation.  The BCM will be a critical thinker who will have a good understanding of available and emerging IT technologies and ways that users are commonly impacted by these. The BCM will support the design, implementation and adoption of change management strategies for IT projects driving fast adoption and managing resistance to change.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree specific to Business Management/Business studies or equivalent business change delivery experience
  • Demonstration of or willingness to achieve business change qualifications e.g. Prosci Change Management Certification.
  • Ideally from a defence or cyber environment
  • A proven track record of leading and delivering business change activities.
  • Demonstration of excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and will be motivated by working with a range of stakeholders ensuring the impacts on those stakeholders are at the forefront of project implementation.
  • The BCM will have a working knowledge of business change methodologies (e.g. Prosci or other proprietary change methodologies) and how these methodologies can be used in different delivery contexts (for example Lean Agile, Scaled Agile, Prince2 or MSP) and are able to tailor their role to fit with the delivery context of the project.
  • Somebody who is able to obtain and hold UK Government clearance.
