Northrop Grumman SSSD Planning & Site Strategy has an opening for a Data Analytics Section Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Facilities Strategy Manager to develop and maintain reports and on-going analysis of facilities related metrics and plans
• Oversee the day to day operations of a team of individuals with varying specialties
• Oversee all analytical information, tools, and processes related to site space planning & strategy
• Leads and plans the activities of a team that develops, transforms, and models data and/or data based systems to provide insights, enable decision making and improve performance related to site utilization, occupancy, office space sizes, real estate and more.
• Designs visualization and systems for consumption of analytical results; transforms raw data into actionable information to support tactical and strategic site plans
• Identifies, communicates, and quantifies opportunities for leveraging analytics solutions and applying data analytics.
• Acts as liaison with decision makers by providing data-informed strategic direction, and as a liaison with subject matter experts to obtain data sets and set expectations for potential of data analytics.
• Optimizes organization's data collection, management, and utilization strategy.
• Communicates the potential impact of analyses and applicable data privacy policies, procedures, and regulation.
• Oversee development and maintenance of tools and processes of matters relating to Site & Space Planning, Real Estate/Leases & Tenant Improvements initiatives
• Integrate information across the Planning & Site Strategy Department and develop executive level briefings
• Strong communication skills, written and oral, and ability to develop and deliver high level presentations

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of professional relevant experience.
• Experienced in communication, written and oral, and ability to deliver high level presentations
• Prior team leadership experience
• Ability to understand AutoCAD or other map/diagram/modeling tools such as Visio, Rivet
• Prior space planning and/or project management experience across a range of organizations for a large institution
• Experienced with data analysis and understanding of data management & reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, SharePoint, or Tableau
• Experience working with Facilities Management Systems (e.g. Archibus, Tririga, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Project, etc.)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Department of Defense Top Secret and/or SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Archibus software
• Experience with executive level briefings
• Experience with budget managements and with organizational cost center/Dept ID attributes as well as org hierarchy
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (hourly through executives)
• Active TS or SCI (SSBI) clearance

Salary Range: $130,500 USD - $195,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
