Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Scheduler.  This position will be located at the Magna (Bacchus) Utah Plant.

The Manufacturing Scheduler performs a variety of actions including but not limited to:

  • Preparing, planning, and issuing operations schedules

  • Coordinating movement of materials between warehouse and operations

  • Facilitating communication between various operations teams, engineering teams and Supply Chain teams by understanding the functions and roles of each team and how they support each other

  • Advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability and any other production problems that may arise prior to operations processes beginning

  • Preparing work orders for the production team based on a factory schedule

This position will report to the Sr Operations Mix/Cast Manager within the Bacchus Value Stream. 

Duties include:

  • Maintains a working schedule for the operations teams.

  • Work closely with supply chain groups to ensure materials, planning and support are in place prior to production starting.

  • Supports production through face-to-face interaction with operations teams

  • Supports some operational functions to help production needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 5 years’ experience

  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to become an expert in the company's MRP system

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent presentation skills both verbally and visually

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Aerospace or Defense manufacturing environments

  • Experience and knowledge within the Mix/Cast department

  • Familiar with Government change control procedures (NASA, DoD,
    Army, Navy, etc.)


Salary Range: $56,000 USD - $93,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
