Our Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Trainer Production 4 to join our ASTAR organization. This position is located in Palmdale, CA.
As a member of the team, you will provide technical support to ASTAR on a variety of technical tasks. Support Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional manufacturing experience and/or related education experience. At least 3 years direct experience working with Systems and Electrical
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction
Ability to work any shift and schedule including 4/10’s or 3/10's, 1st shift (5am- 3:30pm) or 2nd shift (4:12pm- 2:42am), including overtime as necessary to meet business needs.
This position requires having a current active DOD Secret Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working overhead
Must be able to access small confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment
The ability to pass Special Medical/Respiratory Exam.

Team leadership experience
Current Program Special Access
Composites and airframe fabrication, assembly, and LO coatings experience
Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Experience with operating various types of manufacturing tools and/or composition curing equipment
Must be able to individually manage multiple tasks concurrently and provide technical support to business functions on a variety of different projects
Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and process procedures
Ability to interface with various support organizations and levels of management
