Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Analyst/ Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering Team working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment. This position will be located at our site in Iuka, Mississippi where technology and teamwork come together.
**Position is on-site in Iuka, MS and cannot be performed remotely.**
We seek Manufacturing Analysts that use a unique skill set that includes a hands-on approach and act as the production focal point for management of bill of material and production planning within the Aerospace sector.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Other duties may include:
- Performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
- Facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
- Perform data analysis, creation of metrics to support the Manufacturing Engineering organization.
- Participate in Material Review Boards (MRB), Rapid Response Team (RRT), and Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA).
Please note: A start date, for candidates selected, will be determined after obtaining both a DOD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access and is contingent upon Business/Customer funding.

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Manufacturing Analyst level or a Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst level based on the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Manufacturing Analyst
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in manufacturing, production or inventory control OR Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or inventory control.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work any shift depending on business needs
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period prior to starting. Clearance is not required to apply.
Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience in manufacturing, production or inventory control OR Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or inventory control.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work any shift depending on business needs
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period prior to starting. Clearance is not required to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Composites knowledge (i.e. hand layup, automated layup, cure experience, and/or machining experience)
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in an engineering environment.
- SAP knowledge or experience.
