Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (2nd Shift) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Salt Lake City facility has an on-site cafeteria, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a friendly casual work environment. In addition, the site follows an alternate 9/80 work week schedule for most positions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble components for use in precision instruments.
- Perform fine detailed assembly with small parts.
- Work to detailed instructions
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience.
- Must be able to read, interpret, and follow standard procedures.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Able to achieve J-STD-001 certification.
- Must be available for 2nd Shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fine wire soldering experience is a plus.
- Experience working under a microscope.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- J-STD-001 soldering certification.
