Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Associate Bus Mgmt Analyst/Business Management Analyst reporting to the Finance Manager of the Combat Systems and Mission Readiness Division in McLean, VA. 

Position Responsibilities and duties include:

• Provide guidance to business units and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant policies, generally accepted accounting standards (GAAP), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and FAR guidelines
• Correct discrepancies related to time, expense and cost charging through correct means by preparing a journal entry, time change form, Purchase order form, etc. Advise other stakeholders how to correct discrepancies through correct means.
• Create weekly time charging reports, including suspense and unentered time and distribute to stakeholders for correction. Manage responses and actions to successful resolution.
• Create indirect IWOs for CSMR division
• Serve as IWO lead for the division, which includes providing guidance to stakeholders of the relevant process, and successfully navigating the process through various stakeholders to completion
• Create iBuy purchase requisitions for purchase of external indirect supplier content
• Month end and monthly forecast activities related to NCTA, Unallowables and other areas as required
• Division Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities related to NCTA , Unallowables and other areas as required
• Receive NCTA forecasts from BUs, consolidate data, analyze for accuracy, and participate in division reviews
• Generate reports from 1FRPS utilizing a variety of parameters and distribute data to stakeholders. Lead monthly budget meetings. Adjust remaining budget in 1FPRS based on inputs
• Support business system upgrades, including migration to SAP S4
• Assist leadership team with ad hoc requests, including opportunities for cross functional collaboration within the organization 

Basic Qualifications:

Associate Business Management Analyst:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with 0 years of experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to work on-site in McLean, Virginia

Business Management Analyst:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with 3 year of experience
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to work on-site in McLean, Virginia

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the following reporting tools:
  • SAP
  • Business Warehouse (BW)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Advanced Excel skills

Salary Range: $56,300 USD - $84,500 USD

Salary Range 2: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
