Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization has an opening for an Application Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

The selected candidate will join our Classified Application Services team and support COTS and custom-developed software solutions and their associated infrastructure.  The selected candidate will require strong troubleshooting skills and an ability to work with other IT teams for application troubleshooting, configuration, and infrastructure requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2-years of experience in software engineering OR a Master’s degree in a (STEM) discipline from an accredited university.  Applicable technical work experience may be substituted for a STEM degree.
  • Experience with the administration of COTS or SaaS applications
  • Experience working from a ticket queue to troubleshoot user-facing break fix/issues
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory and application network-level application authentication
  • Experience with license management and configuration of network-based licensing
  • Knowledge of Windows Server OS and the use of group policy
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and application connection methods
  • DoD 8570 certification, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security certification
  • At minimum an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply, with the ability to obtain (and maintain) special program access (PAR)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the administration of VMWare AppVolumes or other VDI infrastructure
  • Experience with the administration and configuration of Microsoft IIS
  • Experience with ASP .NET MVC, and/or .NET Framework
  • Experience writing technical documentation and work instructions for application configuration
  • Knowledge of AzureDevOps/TFS capabilities such as build and release pipelines
  • Current special program access (PAR)
  • Current DoD Top Secret level clearance

Salary Range: 70600 - 105800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
