Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our qualified and diverse Government Relations & Compliance team. This position can be located in Redondo Beach, CA, or Melbourne, FL. The selected candidate will report to the Manager, Audit Liaison & Labor Reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Audit support (i.e., MAAR6, Business Systems, etc.)
  • Indirect cost reviews
  • Labor reporting
  • Responding to charging practice and policy inquiries
  • Interprets federal and state and/or international regulations
  • as they apply to products, financial processes, and other
  • processes, practices and procedures
  • Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these
  • are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and
  • regulations and that regulatory reporting requirements are
  • met
  • Investigates and resolves compliance problems, questions,
  • or complaints received from other units of the company,
  • customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
  • May develop and implement programs designed to increase
  • employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies
  • May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and
  • documentation for compliance with government laws and
  • regulations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of compliance, accounting, finance, and/or cost related experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of stated experience
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DCAA audit experience
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
  • Internal Cost Scrub experience
  • Working knowledge of Tableau

Salary Range: 72200 - 125400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
