Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst (Level 2) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on-site in Melbourne, FL and requires an Active DOD Secret Clearance to start.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including developing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and performance measurement baseline (PMB), monitoring and analyzing the Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC), significant variances, risk management reserve (MR), and financial reserve (FR), and preparing of internal and external status reports
  • Performs EAC assessments of subcontracts and general procurement material.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure program contracts are within negotiated, agreed-upon parameters, government cost control guidelines, and accounting guidelines
  • Participates in the control of costs and schedules through cost schedule control system
  • Supports Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting and Planning processes
  • Supports management of program area financials, including financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, estimate at completion analysis
  • Supports development of consolidated program Long Range Strategic Plans and Annual Operating Plans
  • Executes and supports Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation
  • Works with the business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics and to support the management & reporting requirements for the program
  • Supports initiatives and ad hoc requests from Division, Sector, and Corporate leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting with 1 year experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting with 3 years' experience in financial analysis or industry related fields.
  • Experience budget planning and forecasting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel with VLOOKUP and Pivot tables and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work full time on site in Melbourne with a clearance
  • Active Secret DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EVMS principals
  • Excel experience including Macros
  • Solid understanding of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) processes and procedures
  • Experience with Indirect budget planning and forecasting
  • Experience with the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan processes
  • Experience planning Capital and IR&D investments
  • Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR

Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
