We are looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer based out of Melbourne, Fla. As a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You’ll get to Do:

This position supports the Tactical Measurements and Signals Intelligence (TacMASINT) team in Melbourne, Florida. This team is responsible for detailed signals intelligence analysis and detailed digital design work.

As the lead SE, you will be responsible for organizing, interpreting, and analyzing test data for customer briefings along with supporting onsite test events and ensuring requirements V&V.

Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related field with 2 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree in STEM related field with 0 years of experience 

  • Proficient MATLAB experience 

  • Familiarity with RF principles 

  • Familiarity with Scripting 

  • Active Interim Secret required to start 

 

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Engineer:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience 

  • Extensive MATLAB experience 

  • Familiarity with RF principles 

  • Familiarity with Scripting 

  • Active Secret Clearance required 

Preferred Qualifications for Principal or Systems Engineer: 

  • Understanding of RADAR or Electronic Warfare theory/applications 

  • Knowledge of MBSE best practices 

  • Experienced implementing SysML/UML in Cameo System Modeler, MagicDraw, and/or Rhapsody 

  • Familiar with requirements management in IBM DOORS 

  • Knowledgeable of STK 

  • Algorithm development 

  • Familiar with Linux 

  • Familiar with FPGA principals


Salary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD
Salary Range 2: $87,600 USD - $131,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
