Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Material Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located, on-site in Melbourne, FL.

Our team is looking for an individual who will make a difference for themselves and the company in the area of material planning, reporting and coordination for sustainment of E2D Advanced Hawkeye for our international customers. The individual will report directly into the Global Supply Chain Program Management organization in support of the Multi Domain Command and Control Integrated Product Team

About Our Team:

As part of the Global Supply Chain function our team enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaboration across all levels.  We are comfortable in a cooperative environment and play an important role in the overall success in the sustainment of the E2D Advanced Hawkeye.  The GSC program management team is energetic, passionate, and driven to achieve results. This position supports a standard, single-shift, Monday through Friday 9/80 schedule, which gives you every other Friday off to pursue interests outside of work.  Some effort may be required outside of this format as directed by program or customer needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate with other departments as required to validate material availability
  • Manage material status for open requisitions, delivery status and status reporting to functional requestors
  • Support organization and disposition of external supplier status requests for Leadership as needed
  • Supplier onboarding and coordination
  • Support and track supplier closeout activities for the Subcontracts team
  • Coordination between Business Management and Accounts Payable on behalf of Subcontracts organization
  • Maintain material usage reports to support quantity change initiatives
  • Plan and ensure part availability to support ongoing field aircraft modifications and retrofits

This requisition may be filled at either a Material Analyst or Principal Material Analyst level depending on the qualifications below. 

Basic Qualifications for Material Analyst (Level 2):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree and 1+ years of work related experience. Note: An additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Basic understanding of material planning signals and supply chain concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Skill and experience working with SAP
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meets its business needs.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Material Analyst (Level 3):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree and 4+ years of related work experience.  Note: An additional 6 years of work-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Basic understanding of material planning signals and supply chain concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Skill and experience working with SAP
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meets its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • APICS certification in supply chain and/or production control
  • Knowledge and use of ERP/MRP systems
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and Macros
  • Active, In scope DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to read technical drawings to create bills of material

Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
