 Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Employee Engagement Consultant to help drive culture transformation and deliver on effective employee engagement initiatives.If you have proven experience partnering with stakeholders to drive large-scale organizational change and ensuring your projects and change initiatives meet expected outcomes, we want to talk to you!  Reporting to the Manager, Employee Engagement and Development in the Organization Effectiveness department, the successful candidate will know how to advance business objectives by facilitating the people side of change, which may include changes to business processes, systems and technology, organization structures, job roles and more.The preference is for this position to be based in Melbourne, FL or Palmdale, CA but full-time remote work may be available for the right candidate. Responsibilities:
  • Apply change management processes / tools to develop and implement effective change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption, improve organization performance, and increase operational efficiencies
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans by assessing change readiness, identifying stakeholders and developing appropriate plans and countermeasures; provide subject matter expertise, coaching and guidance to assigned teams
  • Support enterprise-level change management efforts and culture change initiatives that have people, process and technology implications (e.g., digital transformation)
  • Act as a liaison with the Enterprise Employee Listening team and work with key partners in HR and the business to develop plans and strategies for improving the employee experience through employee and leadership development efforts
  • As the sector Workday liaison, provide two-way communication between sector and Enterprise to help drive digital transformation efforts by identifying and communicating opportunities to increase the speed of adoption
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders and Organization Effectiveness team members to coordinate efforts and achieve desired objectives
  • Define success metrics and monitor progress against goals across the change management portfolio and recommend enhancements

  • Are curious about digital transformation trends, new and emerging technologies and how to increase adoption and sustainability

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree required plus a minimum of 6 years of experience; 4 years of experience with a Masters; related work experience in change management, organization effectiveness, employee engagement, digital transformation, and/or large-scale employee engagement and culture transformation initiatives.  
  • Practical experience managing projects and ensuring change management is integrated effectively on project teams
  • Ability to collaborate, lead, and build rapport across all levels of the organization to include C-level executives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, SharePoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS:
  • Prior experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Prior experience supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation and/or employee engagement initiatives at a large organization
  • Practical experience in a broad range of change management principles, methodologies and tools; strong understanding of how people work (e.g., human centered design approach) through the change process with successful implementation experience.
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci or other CM designation) highly desired
  • Experience in system implementation with a focus on end user experience to achieve business objectives leveraging Agile methodology and/or Design Thinking
  • Acute business acumen and critical thinker with demonstrated understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Exceptional listener, verbal and written communicator
  • Ability to clearly and succinctly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to influence decision making without direct authority at all levels of the organization
  • Collaborative team player, highly capable of working with and through others
  • Forward looking problem solver, capable of identifying root causes, appropriate mitigation plans and grounded in the academic/theory but with practical implementation approaches
  • Flexible, adaptable, agile and resilient; ability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Organized with demonstrated strength in strategy planning and tactics
  • Previous experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Engineering & Science industries (complex matrixed organization) or large consulting firm with deep implementation experience

Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
