Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Melbourne, FL where technology and teamwork come together. 

Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience in an administrative or manufacturing role or Masters degree with 4 years of experience in an administrative or manufacturing role

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

·       Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and Program Special access

Preferred Qualifications           

·       Experience supporting manufacturing / production operations with an understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures

·       Experience working or knowledge of Process Work Instructions (PWI)

·       Experience in creating work instructions, training materials & visual aids

·       Experience reviewing and interpreting Blueprints and 3D models

·       Experience in composites, automation, heating systems, coatings application & programming

·       Ability to demonstrate independent critical thinking and problem solving capabilities

·       Manage multiple projects concurrently in meeting customer requirements / expectations

·       Experience working hands-on in a production assembly line environment

·       Experience providing innovative techniques focused on improving product designs and tooling assemblies or equipment

·       Experience in Return of Investment (ROI) analysis and justifications

·       Project management skills (proposal creation, scheduling, budget tracking)

·       Experience in using Microsoft Office Project, Visio, SharePoint

·       Knowledge Manufacturing Execution System and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

·       Knowledge in solid modeling design using NX Siemens, CATIA or Solid Works

·       Active in-scope DOD Secret / Top Secret security clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years

Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
