This Project Management will support the Program Manager efforts on projects within an Integrated Product Team (IPT), to include planning, requirements tracking, risk, and proposal preparation, staffing and clearance tracking. This person will support proposal teams and be responsible for requirements tracking.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and support the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.

  • Supports proposal development / capture planning and strategic planning

  • Develop customer relationships and customer intimacy

  • Develops and adherence to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of project management experience; Master's degree with 2 years of experience supporting Aerospace, Department of Defense, Government contracts, or project management experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

  • Current Secret Clearance with a Periodic Review within the last five calendar years.

  • Ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within 365 days.

  • Knowledge of earned value management

  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills.

  • Highly experienced using Microsoft (MS) Office products to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Project

 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)

  • Experience with Risk Management, Return to Green (RTG) plans, and scheduling cross functional activities

  • Ability, once acclimated, to perform tasks autonomously with minimal oversight/supervision as needed

  • Experience using the following Web applications/Software programs: SharePoint; Teamcenter, MPM, etc.


Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
