Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

Job Description:

The Senior Principal Program Management will have demonstrated performance in program integration and execution. The candidate is responsible for oversight and management of the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and will serve as the liaison between program management and integrated product teams. This individual contributor will work side by side with the Program Manager and Senior Level Leadership on all program reporting and executive level presentations.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the programmatic operation and integration directly supporting the Program Office in day-to-day execution
  • Assess project issues, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress
  • Preparation of status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 10 years’ experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; OR Masters degree with 8 years experience in related Project Management, Program Integration/Execution
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and Leadership
  • Active secret or top-secret clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain program access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • 11 years’ experience in Project management, Program Integration/Execution
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar
  • Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience
  • SharePoint experience

Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
