Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for either a level 3 or level 4 Business Planning Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on site in Melbourne, FL with a hybrid telework option available.

The selected candidate will report to and work closely with the Engineering and Resource Business Manager to meet the goals and objectives of the AS Engineering organization. The candidate will serve as the business management point-of-contact and primary interface for the AS Digital Transformation Organization as well as interact with Engineering personnel and other business management employees.

This position will have a heavy emphasis on NCTA and business/project management support to the AS Digital Transformation organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Workforce and financial data tracking and analysis for monthly reporting requirements and reviews
  • AOP / LRSP coordination, project management, COBRA system input and maintenance, time charging and compliance policy
  • A variety of ad hoc tasks/exercises

This requisition may be filled as either a level 3 Principal Business Planning Analyst or a level 4 Sr Principal Business Planning Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Business Planning Analyst:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business experience; OR a Master's degree with 4 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse
  • Strong communication skills

Basic Qualifications for a Sr Principal Business Planning Analyst:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business experience; OR a Master's degree with 8 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Resource management experience (indirect, NCTA, Capital)
  • Knowledge of Deltek Cobra
  • Financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Ability to multi-task and work adhoc requests on short notice

Salary Range: $79,700 USD - $119,500 USD
Salary Range 2: $98,700 USD - $148,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
