You create and execute strategies that result in sustainable value creation that delivers measurable results.   If this is YOU…keep reading!    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 3 to join our Advanced Programs Business Management team. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida or Redondo Beach, CA.  The qualified candidate will report to the Advanced Programs (AP) Business Management Director.   Essential Functions:  
  • Day-to-day leadership of the business management organization including contracts, pricing, and cost & schedule management for Integrated Business Areas (IBAs) within AP
  • Primary lead in developing innovative proposal and negotiation strategies in collaboration with Contracts and Pricing that exceeds customer expectations and achieves Northrop Grumman financial objectives
  • Collaboration with Cost Management and Program Management to develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)
  • Manage program financial performance including NCTA and capital investments
  • Conduct executive level briefings to Division and Sector Leadership

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 10+ years of Business Management or related experience OR
  • Master’s degree from an accredited university with 8+ years of Business Management or related experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in US Government contracts along with 2+ years of Leadership experience, either leading direct reports or integrated product teams
    Experience coordinating and leading a business functional area (i.e., Contracts, Cost & Schedule, Pricing & Estimating, Compliance, etc.)
  • The ability to travel 10+% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in a business or technical discipline with 10+ years of experience within the aerospace industry.
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Experience in schedule-sensitive and change-intensive environments
  • Demonstrated leadership, with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Experience working with various military/commercial capture programs
  • Experience with forecasting supply-chain related cash requirements and performance on government contracts
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
