This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.     This leader will be assigned work in the Logistics & Modernization organization leading a team in System Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Engineering. Candidate will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and verifying subsystem R&M performance requirements for all design changes and new development efforts to ensure that R&M program requirements are achieved. The primary responsibility of the position will be reliability, maintainability, and testability.    Prior experience should include:

• R&M allocations and predictions
• Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysis
• Built In Test (BIT) testability analysis
• Mission reliability analysis
• Familiarity with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
• Experience with Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
• Experience with maintainability demonstrations
• Experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Reliability Growth Testing (RGT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)
• Liaison with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and suppliers

  Expectations:

• Be able to collaborate closely with leadership, the Reliability team and with systems engineering, hardware design, and integration/test engineers.
• Responsible for performance of engineering and analysis techniques to ensure dependability and supportability throughout the platform lifecycle. 
• Experience with R&M analyses at all levels of product design – platform to component to provide qualitative and quantitative evidence that use of a component or system will not be associated with unacceptable risk and will perform required functions under stated conditions for a specified period of time.
• Experience with hardware and software requirements allocation, functional and statistical analyses, detail trade studies, modeling and simulation, design change impacts, maintenance and diagnostic demonstrations, test verification and validation for R&M performance to requirements for operational availability and mission effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline AND 10 years of related professional experience that includes a background in Engineering, OR a Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline AND 8 years of related professional experience that includes a background in Engineering.
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed in the last 6 years).
• Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
  
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance in-scope
• Current Special Program Access (PAR)
• 10 years of experience in Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability disciplines
• Professional and/or military leadership experience in a matrixed organization
• Reliability and Maintainability experience in the Air and Defense Industry
• Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
