Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Field Technician 2/3. This position will be located in Minot, ND and will support the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program Launch Control Block Upgrade (LCCBU) Production & Deployment program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
The Field Technicians for the LCCBU Production and Deployment program are responsible for the demolition and deployment tasks necessary to install new components in support of the Minuteman ICBM mission. In addition, Technicians will work in the warehouse performing support activities when not deploying to a Launch Control Center. Technicians perform receiving, inventory control, warehouse activities, component assembly activities and pre-deployment activities during non-deployment weeks.
Monitors bench stock, supplies and critical equipment.
Comply with safety and security policies/procedures while on site.
Maintains compliance with tech data.
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems
Works from engineering drawings, technical manuals and written or verbal instructions
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; maintain maintenance records
Maintain CPR, adult first aid certification.
Updates team lead and QA of any site discrepancies.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Field Technician 2 level: - A minimum of High School diploma and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
Field Technician 3 level: A minimum of High School diploma and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret level clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with ICBM Systems
CPR, Adult First Aid Certification
Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last 6 years
