Are you ready to put your leadership to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, Our Defense Systems Sector wants you to join our Team as Quality Control Manager/Chief Inspector based at Robins AFB, Warner Robins, GA.
The QC Manager/Chief Inspector is the final authority for ensuring that the maintenance performed at operating locations is in accordance with the airworthiness standards of the Federal Aviation Administration, DCMA INST 8210.1, and company policies. The QC Manager shall be certified under 14 CFR Part 65 (A&P Mechanic). Plans, implements and directs inspection standards, methods and procedures utilized , and complying with applicable CFR's and manufacturer's requirements. Projects the number and type of qualified personnel to properly and adequately perform inspection functions and is responsible for the selection, administration, training and performance of inspection personnel. Monitors the adequacy and currency of all maintenance department publications, authorizes any changes to such publications, and maintains the maintenance department library in current condition. Maintains a training program for mechanics, inspectors, and related maintenance personnel. Review the aircraft and engine logbooks from maintenance checks and lists all pilot reports and deferred maintenance items on appropriate log entries. Monitor all aircraft inspection record forms, which are utilized in aircraft checks to ensure proper completion of all entries.
Required to inspect production aircraft systems, equipment and parts for operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. Inspects the installation and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft. Performs preflight and postflight inspections in accordance with standard procedure on flight-proven aircraft. Inspects, adjustments, repairs, or modifications made on the aircraft. Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Aircraft Inspector and/or in Quality
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Able to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance
- Control, to include line maintenance environment.
- 5 Years Experience Commercial and/or Military
- Travel 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Inspection Authorization.
- Experience working in a US Air Force aircraft maintenance environment.
- Prior Bombardier Global Express aircraft experience.
