Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Morrisville, NC.

The Facilities Coordinator will develop and plan events, internal moves, and facility related projects. The position assists the Regional Facility Manager in the management and over-seeing of facility matters including but not limited to service vendor contracts and performance (i.e. mechanical/HVAC, electrical, housekeeping and grounds keeping), employee related move coordination, facility service requests & issue resolution and construction management support.  This position is also responsible for reporting on recycling, energy conservation efforts, cost saving initiatives and all other programs that effect the facility’s environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

EVENT MANAGEMENT
  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates management activities
  • Receives and addresses "Facility Service Request"  from employees
  • Assists on conference room calendars and set up
  • Maintains and tracks Facility Service Requests

MOVE MANAGEMENT

  • Helps develop, prioritize, and plan employee furniture and/or space moves in conjunction with project/program requirements. Schedules, coordinates, and facilitates employee furniture and/or office space moves
  • Coordinates with external service vendors in support of office movements
  • Ensures timely cleanup of vacated areas – to include coordinating with service vendors and program operations if required (janitorial and logistic movers)

                 

SITE EVALUATIONS & INTERNAL CUSTOMER SURVEYS

  • Monitors, inspects, and analyzes building and space standards for compliance to ensure a quality building environment is maintained.  Monitors, inspects, and analyzes office furniture, as required
  • Conduct internal customer surveys

Service Vendor Relationship

  • Supports, monitors and coordinates all service vendor contracts, both internal and external.  Creates Scope of Work (SOW) for service level agreements.

  • Electrical
  • Pest Control

FACILITY REQUEST AND REPAIRS AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

  • Monitor and assist on all facility related repairs and requests (i.e. hanging whiteboards, replacing lights on furniture overheads, furniture replacement, address facility copier/printer issues, submit service requests to facility maintenance)
  • Monitor and track monthly, quarterly and annual preventive maintenance schedules for service vendors
  • Must have working knowledge of  electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

FACILITY METRIC

  • Space utilization report
  • Track facility space by employee location and sqft of leased space (internal tracking system)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School and 6+ years additional education and/or relevant experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)

 


Salary Range: $53,100 USD - $88,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
