Northrop Grumman is looking for an Administration Manager to join our team in New Town, ND.

Essential Functions

This position is responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).

Assignments are typically received in task oriented terms. Provides direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents. Work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Monitors work operations of exempt and/or non-exempt employees on a daily basis and actively assists or provides direction to subordinates as required. May perform, especially in staff or professional groups, on-going operational tasks of organizational groups.

Executes department procedures that typically affect individual employees within own department. Policy management: Administers and executes policies and procedures that typically affect individual subordinate employees.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience following policies and procedures

  • Experience analyzing risk and make decisions

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Excellent leadership skills including Engagement, Effective Communication,, Motivation, Delegation, and Integrity

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Experience in Earned Value Management System

  • Experience in managing schedules and costs

  • Experience in QuickBooks

  • Experience in accounting

  • Experience in FMLA

  • Experience in hiring


Salary Range: $85,800 USD - $128,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
