Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Aerospace Cable and Harness Technician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in New Town, North Dakota.

Acceptance into the Simulation Technician degree program (a Department of Labor registered Apprentice program) at
Lake Region Community College (Devils Lake ND) is a condition of an employment offer, and maintaining an overall
cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (academic transcripts must be provided at the end of each semester to your NG
manager) is required. This academic program is eligible for Northrop Grumman’s employee educational assistance
This individual will be expected to:
- Under the direction of supervision or higher classified Aircraft Electrician, assembles, mounts, braid and connects
electrical cables, harnesses, sub-assemblies and component parts.
- Work from drawings, blueprints, manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions,
operations work sheets and company, military and customer specifications procedures.
- Adhere to all applicable environmental, safety and health, and operations procedures and directives.
- Notify supervision of any/all malfunctions, defects and damages of equipment, material and product.
- Check work for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform Production Accountability duties associates with the processing, verification, and quality auditing and inspection
of assemblies, parts and tooling for which the individual has been delegated production accountability.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- May be required to work in other fields incidental to, and in connection with, completion of assignment.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

Candidates applying to the position must be available to work one or more of the following shifts:
First Shift: 6am to 4:30pm 4/10 M-TH
Second Shift: 3pm to 1:30am 4/10 M-TH
Weekend Shift: 6am to 6:30pm 3/12 F-Sunday

Basic Qualifications:
*  High School Diploma/GED
*  Must be a U.S. Citizen and provide the proper documentation
*  Ability to read, solve basic math and complete measurements
*  Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 lbs.
*  Ability to work First, Second or Weekend Shift
*  Ability to complete an initial paid 3-4 week training class (Monday-Thursday, 6AM-4:30PM) is required to start, regardless of final shift position.
Preferred Qualifications:
*  Experience in assembly operations, and familiarity with shop routines and use of hand and power tools.*  Experience in interpreting shop math, blueprints, electronic data, specifications, manuals, operations work sheets and verbal instructions.
