Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Property/Asset Management Analyst to manage and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer and US Government property located on site and at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence. This position will be located on site in Northridge, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify problem/issue and resolve by interpreting and analyzing data/transaction history.
  • Compile data from various property reports and provide customers with accurate deliverables. 
  • Review, develop, recommend, and implement property management policy and procedures.
  • Create/update/maintain accountability records within property systems.
  • Conduct internal and external property audits; Contractor Self-Assessment Audits & Subcontractor Surveillance
  • Provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management
  • Support out-going shipment with creating DD 1149 forms
  • Additional assignments may be given to assist other team members as necessary

Basic Qualifications for Associate Property Asset Management Analyst:

  • Must have 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Will consider: Bachelor’s degree and 1-year relevant experience in property disposition, asset management, business management/project management, program operations, inventory and/or logistics; OR Master’s degree and 0 year experience.
  • Understanding of property management administration principles, theories and concepts.
  • Strong PC skills especially with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with diverse levels of internal/external customers, i.e., DCMA, Customers, DoD personnel.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Northridge, CA.
  • Must have the Ability to obtain an Active DoD (Department of Defense) U.S. Government Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active U.S. SECRET security clearance
  • NPMA Certification.
  • Familiarity with AssetSmart and Costpoint System


Salary Range: $51,200 USD - $76,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
