Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Program Manager 1 to be located in Northridge, CA. site.

Responsibilities:

In this position, the selected Program Manager will oversee multiple capital expenditure projects within the Advanced Programs Operating Unit organization of the Advanced Weapons Business Unit.  Based on the requirements of the projects, the responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality of capital improvement projects including facility construction and large capital purchases
  • Adherence to all internal supply chain and program management processes
  • Leading and directing a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) to achieve technical objectives
  • Development and adherence to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Development and adherence to budget baselines
  • Development and delivery of presentations to leadership and program stakeholders
  • Creation, review and finalization of the project Statement of Work
  • Establishment of schedule milestones and spend-plan
  • Development of stakeholder relationships and strong communication across departments

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 9 years of experience working in program management, project management, supply chain, engineering, business management, or another related field. Will consider a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years (or Master’s degree and 3 years) experience working in program management, project management, supply chain, engineering, business management, or another related field.
  • Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as the project lead. 
  • Demonstrated success aligning teams, organizations, or employee resource groups to achieve a common goal. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active SECRET clearance is preferred.
  • Experience with SAPF construction security requirements
  • Experience managing facility construction projects
  • Experience with RF testing facilities
  • The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.
  • The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that project information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets project and stakeholder needs.
  • The ability to identify and address project impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the project.

Salary Range: $119,600 USD - $179,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
