Northrop Grumman’s is seeking a Program Manager to support the Northridge, CA site.  This position will be with the AAR-47 and CMBRE team supporting the development and production activities.

Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics sector is seeking a Program Manager to support the Northridge, CA site.  This position will be with the AAR-47 and CMBRE team supporting the development and production activities. Program Manager responsibilities are broad and rewarding; you are the direct interface to both the internal and external customers in this position. For your internal customer, you are responsible to support in any capacity to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals meet the program requirements. The program manager is also responsible for capturing new and follow-on business through development of business relationships and achieving program expectations. For your external customer you are responsible for exceeding their execution expectations, meeting technical, quality, and delivery requirements for the program. Our work is mission critical and directly contributes to national security. 

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Execute programs successfully by managing safety, quality, schedule and cost (P&L responsibility)
  • Report Program Reviews, Forecasts, EACs
  • Lead customer directed change delegations and
  • Coordinate customer directed changes through the change control board
  • Lead Program Risk Board and Special Projects

The ideal candidate brings agility to the business and programs they are working, is a proven leader and can represent the company internally and externally. You take initiative, work with limited direction, enjoy leading small and large teams, and are comfortable around any level of management. Lastly, you are observant and pay attention to detail.

Travel is 10% within the US or as needed based on program requirements to ensure a successful mission.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead a group that are not direct reports
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated financial management skills including: development and control of program budgets, schedules, and the ability to recognize and capture program changes.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to create and maintain business deliverables
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project)
  • Demonstrated history of effective and productive customer relationships

Salary Range: $119,600 USD - $179,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
