Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Contract Administrator/Principal Contract Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Sierra Vista, Arizona, or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, or Rancho Bernardo, California.  A full-time teleworker will also be considered for this role.

The Contract Administrator/Principal Contract Administrator will be assigned to the Autonomous Systems Operating Unit and will produce high quality contract management related products supporting the NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) In Service Support Program.  This position requires a background in contracting, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.  The ideal candidate will be a team player but also a strong independent contributor, will be proactive, will present leadership skills, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problem solving skills, and will be detail oriented.

The Contract Administrator/Principal Contract Administrator will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The Contract Administrator/Principal Contract Administrator must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, effectively deal with external customers, and meet the goals/objectives of the NATO AGS program team.

Job Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Prepare bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Basic Qualifications for Contract Administrator:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of seven years prior relevant experience
  • Will also consider:  
    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years prior relevant experience
    • Master’s degree with a minimum of one year prior relevant experience
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Prior Contract Administration experience

Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator:

  • Must have high school diploma or GED with a minimum of ten years prior relevant experience
  • Will also consider:
    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of six years prior relevant experience
    • Master’s degree with a minimum of one year prior relevant experience
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Prior Contract Administration experience

Salary Range: 55800 - 102000
Salary Range 2: 68600 - 125800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
