Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst OR Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK with a hybrid working schedule or full time in office schedule requirement.

Roles and Responsibilities : Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Basic Qualifications for Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (level 1) :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field

  • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications for Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (level 2) :

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years’ experience in any combination of the following: Business, Finance, or Accounting; or Master’s Degree with 1 year of experience

  • Working experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

  • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cost management, finance management and/or pricing & estimating

  • Proficiency of the following systems or software: Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM), Cobra or similar project management software, SAP Management Project System Modules and Business Warehouse (BW)


Salary Range: $46,100 USD - $69,100 USD
Salary Range 2: $55,800 USD - $83,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
