B-2 Tailpipe Program Manager to provide engineering/programmatic leadership for the Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization  Solutions.   The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Engineering processes and procedures, program management and provide Technical oversight of Tailpipe Programs.  Candidate  will have experience leading diverse teams through change, and will have a vision for how they will promote team engagement within this department.  Position to be based in Oklahoma City, OK

The B-2 Tailpipe Program Manager is directly responsible for a diverse team delivering Tailpipes and associated components to the customer. This leader will be responsible for the direction of Program, Project Managers, Engineers and other teammates delivering tailpipes/components.  This B-2 Tailpipe Program Manager will also have cost, schedule, and performance responsibility to the IPT Director.  He/she drives operations strategy, schedules, and execution to support major program milestones, and is responsible for subcontractors supporting the Tailpipe Program.  Finally, he/she is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel and for ensuring process adherence.

Candidates must be capable of supporting business development activities, support proposals (generate schedules and cost estimates), and support program reviews. Candidates must be capable of being responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for various activities executed within the IPT. This includes management of budgets and using EVMS reporting tools, accountable for cost, schedule, and reporting any variances.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 9 years of test experience or; Master’s Degree in STEM with 7 years of test experience

  • Prior Leadership experience

  • Experience with EVMS concepts

  • Must have prior Program Management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM).

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

  • Ability to receive Special Program access

  • Excellent leadership, motivational, and communications skills

  • Understands benefit of diversity in leadership team


Salary Range: $127,100 USD - $190,700 USD
Salary Range 2: $0 USD - $158,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
