The Facilities Maintenance team at Deployables is looking for you to join our team as a Manager Facilities 1 based out of Oxnard, California location.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include oversight and management for the Oxnard facility, including clean rooms, HVAC systems, humidification, and various other manufacturing equipment. Other key responsibilities:

· Ability to work with outside suppliers and contractors.

· Manages facilities equipment and tooling spare parts inventories to assure operational readiness

· Uses manufacturing fundamentals and TPM principles to organize workflow, streamline internal processes and minimize equipment downtime

· Communicates directly with operations management on status of equipment within the facility

· Drives root cause & corrective action, utilizing reliability engineering to take proactive approach

· Manage a small team of maintenance technicians

You will provide reviews as to the status of maintenance and reliability issues in the factory and be accountable for the scope, schedule, and budget of each area of activity. Your focus will include understanding Maintenance Connection to assure proper work control on preventative maintenance, emergency repair, and equipment modifications. Your focus will also include a sound understanding and participative control of GSE, warehousing, and use of spare parts inventory. This position has considerable latitude for independent action and decision making.

Basic Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years of related experience

· In-depth hands-on knowledge of facilities and equipment maintenance and reliability services

· Solid understanding and experience in troubleshooting factory equipment, mechanical and electrical systems

· Ability to prepare sound presentations and conduct meetings with the management.

· Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams with diverse maintenance/craft skills and backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing and maintenance systems

· Experience in aerospace industry


Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
