Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for either a level 1 Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst or a level 2 Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site in Palmdale, CA with partial telework available upon manager's discretion.

Essential Functions:
  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses
  • Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
  • Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines

This requisition can be filled as either a level 1 Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst or a level 2 Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business Related Field
  • Strong computer skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel
  • Ability to effectively handle challenging priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and works well in team environment
  • Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multitask

Basic Qualifications for a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of Business Related experience, or a Master’s degree with 1 year of stated experience
  • Strong computer skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel
  • Ability to effectively handle challenging priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and works well in team environment
  • Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Accounting or Finance experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience with SAP, MicroFrame Program Manager (MPM), Business Warehouse, COBRA

Salary Range: $56,300 USD - $84,500 USD
Salary Range 2: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
