We are looking to hire either a Level 2 Principal Program Cost Control Analyst or a Level 3 Principal Program Cost Control Analyst. This position is located on site in Palmdale, CA, Melbourne, FL, San Diego, CA, or Oklahoma City, OK.

Job functions:
  • Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are collected and scheduled
  • Maintain earned value compliance including cost/schedule integration
  • Performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analysis such as funding profiles and variance analysis
  • Work with control account managers, business managers, and program managers to maintain accurate records of expenditures and estimates at complete (EAC)
  • Provide planning support for programs including budgeting, performance monitoring, and analysis reporting
  • Develops, prepares, and analyzes performance metrics and works with CAMs to resolve discrepancies (actuals and performance)
  • Create financial charts in support of program management and program reviews
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings

Basic Qualifications for an Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:
  • Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst: 3 years of experience in Cost Management with a Bachelor's Degree OR Master's Degree with 1 year of related experience
  • Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.

Additional leveling positions not listed on requisition will also be considered
  • Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of related experience
  • Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst: Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in Cost Management OR a Master's Degree with 4 years of related experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Basic COBRA and SAP skills
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance with investigation completed within the last 5 years

Salary Range: $48,600.00 - $102,100.00

Salary Range 2: $58,800.00 - $125,800.00

Salary Range 3: $72,400.00 - $125,900.00

Salary Range 4: $89,800 - $155,900.00


Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD
Salary Range 2: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
