Principal or Sr Principal Production Test Engineer

The Production Test Team is looking for a Level 3 Production Test Engineer to assist with planning and scheduling test events, working with Responsible Engineers (RE) to develop test procedures, perform test article operations, and maintain a test point database. The selected candidate must assist with coordination of supporting organizations in executing and planning a test program. Plan, coordinate and conduct article test operations as an approved test conductor, which includes test deck preparation, leading engineering briefs/debriefs, coordination with scheduling, maintenance, and telemetry support, and leading the article test team through test missions as the link between article under test team and control room test engineers, test directors and operations crew. Provide support for post-test data processing and analysis as required to support test objectives. Provide first line engineering support for maintenance, repairs, and modifications to system under test. Provide supervision and direction to maintenance personnel for maintenance, repairs, and modifications to system under test. Analyze and interpret test data; provide recommendations to Engineering and Leadership for alternate means of compliance as required; support development and execution of test objectives. The selected candidate must have excellent communication skills required, must work well in a team environment, and must work independently to solve a variety of complex problems. Must be able to work well with a dynamic team of aircraft technicians and engineers in a fast paced environment. Must be willing to support shift work including extended shifts, shift rotation, weekends and occasionally, holidays as required. Must be willing to travel domestically as required to support testing operations.

Basic Qualifications:

- For Principal (level 3): Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5 years of experience; Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; 0 with PhD

- For Sr Principal (level 4): Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 9 years of experience; Master's Degree with 7 years of experience; 4 with PhD

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

- Requires an active DOD Secret Clearance

- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special access

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Masters of Science Degree in a STEM field, to include: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Systems engineering.

- Experience as a Test Engineer, Test Conductor/Director that includes test planning, execution and operations

- Experience in a production line environment

- Experience in an aircraft flight line maintenance environment

- FAA Airman certification (A&P, Flight Engineer, Pilot)

- Active Program clearance

Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD

Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
