Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr Principal Property Asset Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on site in Palmdale, CA. The selected candidate will work closely with the Property Management team to meet the goals and objectives of the AS Business Management organization.

Essential Functions:

Oversee, manage and analyze activities associated with Property/Asset Management business systems to ensure US Government, Customer and Company property located at Northrop Grumman and its suppliers are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence

  • Primary Property Management point of contact for production, spares and repair contracts. Able to interact and effectively communicate with Government counterparts and upper management
  • Experience and knowledge of all aspects of the property life cycle
  • Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance to Contracts and Programs regarding Property life-cycle management and government property contractual requirements
  • Perform contractor self-assessment audits in accordance with Northrop Grumman processes and procedures
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure processes are performed and documentation is maintained as required by NGAS Procedures and USG FAR regulations
  • Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes
  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, with individual and team assignments across all levels

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of Asset Management or Contract experience or a Master's Degree with 8 years of related experience or 15 years Asset Management experience in lieu of a degree
  • Diverse knowledge of Government Property related contractual requirements, including FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, and DFARS property management clauses
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Powerpoint and Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be willing to travel between the Melbourne and Palmdale sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently holds an active secret clearance reviewed within the past 5 years
  • NPMA Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) certification
  • Strong leadership experience with proven ability to train and motivate team members towards operational excellence
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes and procedures in accordance with leadership strategy
  • Risk Management experience including development of RCCAs and implementation of corrective action plans
  • Property Management experience supporting manufacturing facilities
  • Experience supporting and/or performing compliance audits including Property Management System Audits (PMSA)
  • Experience with industry leading practices, techniques and standards as they pertain to property and asset management

Salary Range: $94,500 USD - $141,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
