Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an experienced Senior Principal Test Conductor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and adapt to change. The position requires working knowledge of the full development life-cycle processes that acknowledge technical and schedule constraints. Candidate must exhibit strong leadership characteristics in coordinating with multiple teams and managing tasks. The role will be a hybrid of diverse assignments in a collaborative/team setting across all levels. The candidate should have experience in hardware/software integration, system troubleshooting, vendor and repair cycle experience as well as property management experience. Candidate must be comfortable in both development lab, as well as be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, integration/test engineers, and program leadership. This position will require occasional overtime nd able to support either 4/10 or 9/80 schedule.

Basic Qualifications: 

·       Principal Test Conductor (level 3): Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field and 5 years OR a HS Diploma with 9 years relevant experience

·       Sr Principal Test Conductor (level 4): Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field and 9 years OR a HS Diploma with 13 years relevant experience

·       Hardware/software integration experience

·       System level hardware troubleshooting experience

·       An active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance

·       The ability to obtain and maintain program access


Preferred Qualifications: 

·       Experience in software integration, software testing

·       Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

·       Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders

·       Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills

·       Security+ certification


Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
