This position is for the role of a Project Manager. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project managers within the SIT&E organization. The candidate is responsible to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects.   This position will require the project manager to perform advanced project management tasks from inception to close-out and continue to manage the system for operational efficiency. 


The candidate should have knowledge of EVMS and Program Management processes and procedures.  They should have knowledge of industry practices and standards and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks independently. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have experience briefing Leadership.  Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. 


This role may be filled at the higher grade based on requirements listed below.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Project Mgt (Level 2): Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in project management/related industry experience or, 1 Years with Master’s OR 7 year in lieu of completed degree
  • Principal Project Mgt (Level 3): Bachelor's degree and minimum of 6 years of experience in project management/related industry experience or 4 years with a Master's degree OR 10 years in lieu of completed degree
  • EVMS / Cost and Schedule and or Project Management Experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Project (scheduling)
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance

Ability to obtain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing technical projects in the Aerospace industry
  • Experience managing facilities and infrastructure projects 

Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD
Salary Range 2: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
