Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Palmdale, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities:  Serves as part of the Operations Security Team assisting in performing physical security and administrative duties in support of operations while working in a high OPTEMPO environment. Additional duties may include assisting in conducting security education briefings, security audits, physical security inspections and investigate security violations while preparing reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in security, administration, or security operations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Special Access Program (SAP)
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include working nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and a self-starter attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance with a background investigation date within the last 6 years, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree
  • CDSE Professional Certification
  • Experience working in an SAP environment
  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary Range: $56,300 USD - $84,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
