Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Administrative Generalist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will serve as site lead overseeing the day-to-day operation for the Business Services Group.This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The Associate Administrative Generalist  will be expected to: 
  • Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures. 
  • Performs as a Generalist on a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as: Finance, Human Resources, Purchasing, and R&D (research and development). 
  •  May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.
  • Research, reproduce and archive engineering, scientific and business documents/drawings to verify accuracy and appropriateness of material required for data processing, engineering, manufacturing and production related operations. 
  • Maintain internal records and catalog, validate, distribute, and audit engineering publications, technical orders and configuration documents.
  • Review output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards and specifications.
  • Assist records management with archiving and retrieving requested records. 
  • Assist Program Office with RFQ Proposals and graphics team with preproduction and execution of proposals.
  • Mail room duties is required of the candidate that will be responsible for the coordination and distribution of U.S. Postal.
  • Service mail, business and company correspondence, inter/intra-company. Must be highly committed to delivering top notch customer service and precision quality document reproduction on a tightly managed production schedule. 
  • Able to review complex and diverse customer requests for engineering plotting orders and manage each job from start to finish, including file preparation, plotting/printing, scanning, file management, coordinating projects with other departments, and providing bindery services. 
  • Changing paper rolls/toner and performing basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. and able to stand for long periods of time. 
  • Overtime including evening and weekend support may be required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience providing administrative support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and prior experience working in large databases.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Current Special Program Access.
  • Experience with Bindery services.
  • Experience operating reproduction devices - Printing, plotting and scanning.
  • Ability to effectively communicate/interface with multiple levels of leadership, colleagues and vendors.
