Supervisory or management responsibilities for more than one integrated support element, including systems analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, training maintenance or modifications, support equipment and facilities.

  • Responsible to the Program Manager for the schedule and technical performance of the Triton Maintenance department at the ITT Pax River
  • Supports the Program Manager as the company's single point of contact for maintenance activities of MQ-4C Triton .
  • Will participate in daily review sessions with customer to discuss schedule, and technical performance of the maintenance team.
  • The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance, servicing, repairing and overhauling of UAS air vehicles. Must become an expert in all associated subsystems to ensure that they are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.
  •  Maintains interfaces with all departments having direct impact on the air vehicles and field support systems. Must adhere to configuration management, technical orders, field modification, repair programs, software support, support equipment and other field support activities.
  • Must provide oversight and verification of all DoD and NGC maintenance requirements.
  •  Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to integrated master schedules (IMS) as it pertains to the air vehicles and ground support shelters.
  • Monitors adherence to Statement of Work (SOW), Ground Operating Procedures (GOP), and flight/ test schedules.
  • Identifies program problems and recommends solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Directly manages employees and provide feedback on yearly performance
  • Will recommend procedure changes to improve maintainability of aircraft and timely inspections.
  • Will consult manufacturers' manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement.
  • Available to work multiple shifts 
  • Obtain Safe for Flight certification

Must have 11 years of experience with a HS Diploma or GED. Would consider a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an appropriate technical discipline and 7 years of relevant experience as defined below.

Must have an active DOD Secret Security Clearance.


Safe for Flight experience

MQ4C Triton maintenance experience, and/or Navy/Marine Corps Maintenance Control

Knowledge and experience with 4790 and 8210 requirements


Salary Range: $98,800 USD - $148,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
