We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Plymouth, MN. This position supports programs on the Fuzing and Warheads team. If you are a dynamic and motivated professional looking to join an innovative team, working on cutting-edge technology – this may be the role for you!

This position requires experience in applying Electrical Engineering practices, including:

  • Collaborating with a team of Electrical Engineers through product development

  • Considers technical tradeoffs, design requirements and program objectives

  • Ability to calculate and simulate design concepts prior to and during schematic entry

  • Leading schematic development with experience in analog and digital circuit design

  • Oversees board layout and provides knowledgeable feedback to the PWB designer

  • Experience running and/or participating in the peer review process

  • Ability to perform and analyze circuit card level testing

This position my be hired at a higher level depending on education and/or years of experience.

Basic Qualifications for EE:

  • Requires a minimum BSEE +2 years or an MSEE from an accredited college

  • Experience in the areas of analog and digital design

  • Experience in modeling and simulation of the electrical systems

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with cross functional team members

  • Position may require occasional travel to meet with customers, suppliers and to perform product demonstrations

  • Prefer experience in developing high reliability electronics to meet military environments

  • Able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications for Principal EE:

Includes all of the above with the addition of at least 5 years of EE experience.

Salary Range: $78,600 USD - $118,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $96,900 USD - $145,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
